Drawstring bags
Standard bags
Almost all of our gifts go out in drawstring bags. The standard size is about 10 x 14 inches. The drawstring is on the short side and should be of sturdy enough material to draw the bag closed. Bags are mainly quiting cotton, as that is easy to draw closed.
Tic-tac-toe bags
Tic tac toe bags are about 6 x 7 inches finished with the drawsting on the short side. One side should be a plain light color so the marks show up well. The fabric should be lightweight so the bag can be closed tightly. We use bottle caps for markers, but could use game chips if available.
Marble or clothespin bags
We use smaller bags for marbles or clothespins. It is important for the marble bags that they be a lightwieght fabric that can be drawn tightly closed so the marbles don’t fall out.
